About the Opportunity
Zoelife Recovery Services, a new extension of our established Zoelife Psychiatric Services, is proud to introduce Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) treatment options to the Frankfort, Illinois, community. This expansion allows us to provide a more comprehensive continuum of care through these advanced therapeutic services. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Group Therapist to join our team and contribute to our innovative care model in this exciting new venture.

Key Responsibilities: Hiring two positions ( 1 Remote and 1 in person)
Clinical Service Delivery
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for adults and adolescents in PHP and IOP addiction treatment programs
- Provide individual therapy and case management services as needed
- Conduct intake assessments and participate in treatment planning processes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Implement evidence-based addiction treatment interventions in group settings
Program Participation & Development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of group therapy protocols
- Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultations
- Assist in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in professional development activities and training opportunities
- Support program growth through excellent clinical care and client outcomes
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain compliance with state regulatory standards, CARF accreditation, and HIPAA requirements
- Complete required documentation within established timeframes
- Participate in quality assurance activities and audits
- Adhere to clinical standards and evidence-based practices
- Report critical incidents and maintain appropriate clinical boundaries
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Master's degree in behavioral health field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field)
- Active Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or license-eligible)
- CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification preferred
Experience & Expertise
- Direct clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Group therapy facilitation experience required
- Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatments
- Familiarity with harm reduction, recovery-oriented, and abstinence-based models
- Understanding of ASAM Criteria preferred
- Experience with acute populations in higher levels of care
- Background treating both adult and adolescent populations with substance use disorders preferred

Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday-Friday, flexible scheduling between program hours 9 am- 3 pm
- Some evening groups may be required
- Collaborative startup environment with established organizational support
