$34.27 - $51.41 an hour - Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week
*This position has the opportunity to work partially remote.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Cardiac Device Nurse who is responsible for the clinical, technical, and educational aspects related to the care of those patients who have implanted cardiac devices.

Qualifications
•Current Colorado RN License
•1 year minimum Cardiology/Telemetry experience as an RN
Responsibilities
•Implements essential patient teaching elements, and serves as a resource for patient concerns and questions, upon hospital discharge, and throughout device/patient lifetime.
•Oversees post procedural appointments for cardiac device generator replacements, and new implants. Incorporates patient and family education, and the SSI strategies reflective of SCIP and IHI best practices.
•Provides patient education and troubleshooting to promote and maintain remote patient follow-up by trans-telephonic monitoring
•Responsible for trouble-shooting, evaluating and interpreting technical and arrhythmia information upon interrogation of the implanted cardiac device, and subsequent physician communication
•Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
•Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure.
