JOB SUMMARY:
Provides first line supervisory capabilities within the Security/Courier Services Department to meet and achieve organizational goals and departmental objectives.
- Submits accurate written reports and documents findings of investigations.
- Greets and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees at entrances and exits.
- Provides effective leadership and guidance for Security Department personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with ability to be cleared by Fleet Safety (driving record review required).
- Maryland Security Officer Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- IAHSS Supervisor Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
