Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility required based on participant needs)
About the Role Community LIFE is seeking a compassionate and engaging Activities Coordinator to lead and manage therapeutic programming for older adults in our Day Center. This role involves planning and executing a wide range of engaging activities that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our participants. You’ll also supervise the Activities team and collaborate closely with the Day Center Supervisor and interdisciplinary staff to ensure a vibrant and supportive environment. Occasional in-home visits may be required for assessments and ongoing case management.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or
- High School diploma plus 4 years of experience coordinating and leading activities for older adults.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading recreational activities for frail or elderly individuals, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required.
- CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or MT (Music Therapist) highly preferred.

- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication—both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
