Oasis Treatment is an integrated behavioral health organization offering trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and co-occurring needs. Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide comprehensive clinical services to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. This position involves conducting assessments, providing therapy, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Conduct Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSRS) initial assessments and follow-up evaluations
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based approaches including CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed interventions
- Facilitate therapeutic groups including process groups, psychoeducational sessions, and skills-based interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency mental health services as needed
Care Coordination & Advocacy
- Coordinate care with external providers including primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and community agencies
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, benefits, and social services
- Advocate for clients' needs within healthcare systems and community organizations
- Collaborate with case managers and discharge planners to ensure continuity of care
- Engage with families and support systems to enhance treatment outcomes
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) system
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries the same day services are provided
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and social work ethical standards
- Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance activities
Team Collaboration
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning conferences
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors, peer mentors, medical staff, and other team members
- Provide consultation on complex psychosocial issues and family dynamics
- Participate in clinical supervision and professional development activities
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or mental health services
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles
- Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass comprehensive criminal background check per state regulations
Preferred:
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification
- Experience with ASAM Level 2.1, 2.5, or intensive outpatient programs
- Background working with diverse populations including individuals experiencing homelessness or LGBTQ+ clients
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)
- Training in specific evidence-based therapies (DBT, EMDR, family therapy)
