About the position:
This new role will be working within the Operations team and will be responsible for ensuring our product photography is captured, organised, and maintained to the highest standard. This role supports the seamless coordination of digital content production, working closely with Merchandise and Brand & Marketing to ensure that imagery is available for all our products, always reflecting the quality and integrity of our brand.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, style, and organise physical products for photography and videography.
- Capture clear, high-quality product images aligned with Cullen Jewellery's brand and marketing standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of all products photographed or filmed, ensuring content can be easily tracked throughout the production pipeline.
- Manage the export of content from the shooting platform, uploading each batch with detailed instructions.
- Track progress of each content batch, updating documentation and ensuring visibility across the team.
- Perform quality control on edited images to confirm they are correctly cropped, edited, named, and meet brand expectations.
- Upload finalised image sets to appropriate digital storage locations, maintaining consistency and accessibility.
- Notify Merchandise and relevant teams when content is complete and ready for launch.
- Maintain the studio environment, ensuring it remains clean, functional, and optimised for use.
What are we seeking?
- Minimum 2 years experience in a photography, studio assistant or a similar role, ideally within the jewellery, luxury goods, or retail industry.
- Product and Ecomm photography experience including styling shoots.
- Experience using and communicating with external editing and retouching services.
- Strong technical skills in photography, set up, lighting, and post-production, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or similar)
- Proficiency with inventory management software and eCommerce platforms for accurate product listing and tracking.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage diverse responsibilities, work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced and growing retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills to support the coordination of stocktake processes, showroom launches, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and translate creative briefs into compelling visuals.
- Comfortable with high volumes of asset and data management
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for data-driven decision-making, with experience in forecasting and demand planning.
- Experience with quality control processes for jewellery or other high-value products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- The right to work in Australia.
