The Opportunity
We're looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our lean, impactful Finance team. This is a critical role where you'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, directly enabling our rapid growth and mission to expand access to high-quality care. You'll report to the Controller, focusing on core accounting functions like accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly closes, and reconciliations, while also contributing to vital financial reporting and analysis. What You'll Do
As an Accountant at Fabric Health, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health that powers our impactful work. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the preparation and issuance of customer invoices and statements, and diligently applying customer payments within our accounting software.
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of accurate customer and vendor records within the accounting system.
- Processing vendor bills for approval, meticulously tracking payment statuses, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements to our partners.
- Preparing and analyzing various financial reports, such as accounts receivable and accounts payable aging schedules, providing valuable insights to the Controller.
- Performing detailed monthly bank and other account reconciliations, diligently investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Proactively identifying areas for process improvement within your assigned responsibilities and contributing to the development and enhancement of organized and efficient record-keeping procedures within the Accounting team.
- Actively participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles, ensuring adherence to deadlines and the accuracy of financial statements.
- Preparing and posting accurate adjusting journal entries in the accounting software in accordance with GAAP, and assisting with monthly sales tax returns.

Your Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of progressive work experience in an accounting role, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use complex formulas and functions for data analysis.

The national pay range for this role is $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, including a comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan, stock options and bonuses.
