Radiology Supervisor Position Summary
The Radiology Supervisor supervises those functions directly involved with a variety of clinical and technical procedures applying ionizing radiation under the minimal direction of the Radiologists and Departmental Senior Director. This position supervises & manages the Radiologic Technologists and provides staffing schedules. Provides oversite of Wor Wic Radiological Technology students while on site. Responsible for ordering all department supplies and insuring inventory of same. Coordinates & supports the activities of Diagnostic Radiology with the other Medical Imaging divisions & the other Departments (Surgical, Endoscopy and Emergency Services) to ensure proper patient flow and appropriateness of care provided.
Radiology Supervisor Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
- At least three (5) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and demonstrates proven supervisory capabilities.
Radiology Supervisor Schedule
- Day shift, Monday through Friday with off hours and weekend/holiday administrative call responsibilities..
- Salaried position.
