About GoBolt
Our Mission:
At GoBolt, we provide a technology-driven, customer-centric and sustainable approach to ecommerce and last-mile logistics for businesses of all sizes – from local brands to large national retailers. By operating as an extension of our customer"s team, we deliver best-in-class services every step of the way.
We"re building North America's largest electric vehicle fleet to help bring sustainability to an industry notorious for its heavy impact on the environment. We are in high growth mode and building for the future, which is where you come in!
Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and analytical Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a mid-level specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing operational performance across our 3PL logistics and warehousing network. You will partner closely with site leaders to analyze data, uncover insights, and implement process improvements that drive operational efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
Why You"ll Love This Role:
- Real Impact, Real Results: You"ll be at the heart of operations, turning data into decisions that directly improve performance, reduce costs, and elevate quality across multiple warehouse sites. Your insights won't just sit in a report — they'll drive action.
- Blend of Strategy & Execution: This isn't a back-office analytics role. You'll have the opportunity to work hands-on with site leaders, train teams, and help implement your recommendations in real-world operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work across logistics, finance, and leadership teams, giving you visibility into the entire supply chain ecosystem. It"s a great way to build a deep, well-rounded understanding of the 3PL space.
- Learning & Growth: This specialist role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into operations leadership, continuous improvement, or even supply chain strategy roles. You"ll gain exposure to both financial and operational performance metrics.
- Fast-Paced & Meaningful: Logistics is the backbone of modern commerce, and you'll be helping to keep it running better, faster, and smarter. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to solve.
- Downtown Location with Flexibility: Work from a central Toronto office & a big Markham warehouse, with access to leadership, while still enjoying flexibility and modern tools that support hybrid collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze operational and financial data across multiple warehouse sites.
- Identify performance trends, cost drivers, and efficiency gaps.
- Develop and present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Financial Metrics & Performance Support:
- Develop, track, and report on key operational and quality metrics (e.g., order accuracy, on-time shipping, inventory accuracy).
- Support and train site leaders on financial KPIs including cost per unit, labor utilization, and budget adherence.
- Assist in the preparation of operational budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor site-level financial performance and work with teams to address variances.
- Quality & KPI Management:
- Develop, track, and report on key operational and quality metrics (e.g., order accuracy, on-time shipping, inventory accuracy).
- Provide coaching and training to site managers to enhance understanding and execution of quality standards and KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across sites
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure aligned operations.
- Contribute to business reviews and strategic planning by providing data-driven analysis.
- Mandatory: Solid understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and key industry metrics.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in an operational, analytical, or consulting role within a 3PL or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Excel/Gsheet, Looker/PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in training or supporting operational leaders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with multiple priorities.
Role is based at both our Markham warehouse and our Downtown Toronto office on John St.
