π Who is the Project Manager?
Portfolio Project Managers are an integral part of the Client Experience team, which includes both Project Management and Account Management. They act as a vital support to Account Management and the group's work for clients. The Portfolio PM works closely with creative, strategy and tech teams to produce amazing, integrated products. This role consistently manages client expectations, schedules, budgets, assets, and scopes, all while providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle for all clients within their assigned Portfolio.
The Portfolio Project Manager ensures proper financial and progress forecasting is being done for all projects assigned and provides insights on process improvements and/or resources and tools available to the agency. An important part of this role is ensuring that the standard workflow and processes are properly followed and implemented. They own all internal information by knowing their projects inside and out.
Owns resourcing, budgets, and successful delivery of projects to clients within assigned portfolio.Collaborates with internal partners to define project vision and strategy, proactively gathering and analyzing information needed to develop and implement effective project plans.Possesses and leverages nuanced understanding of client accounts and technology used to implement change and foresee/prevent challenges. Applies strong working knowledge of Leap Group's planning and production processes across agencies to coordinate cross-functional work, tap into appropriate resources, and contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives.Applies foundational understanding of 360 ad deliverables in web, video, digital, print to daily work to all four Leap Group agencies to move projects forward. Effectively communicates project and task statuses and expectations (both to internal team/resources and clients) and facilitates project team meetings.Manages project schedules, documentation, timelines, and reports using standard PMO tools and processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Mitigates risk using meticulous planning, documentation, and communication.Provides timely issuance of all documentation, timelines and reports in accordance with Leap Group's project management processes.Facilitates collaboration and team progression, managing time and financial resources to ensure client projects are on-time and on-budget.Acts as a Print Producer or Digital Producer when needed by managing communications, timelines and costs related to third-party vendors, including Print Production, Digital/Animation Studio Artists, Proofreaders and Translators. Facilitates internal communication by keeping a weekly updated internal status tracker for all medium- to high-touch clients.
π What do You Need?
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) and 4+ years project management experience in the digital/agency space.Prior experience and proficiency in Adobe Workfront strongly preferred.Impressive knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm in the digital marketing/advertising space, including:Experience with media, digital campaign strategy and execution, creative-driven marketing, digital strategy, websites, applications, technology, hosting, digital campaigns, print, and broadcast/web video.Experience across client budgets and industries.Enthusiasm for digital marketing and insatiable curiosity for the latest news, events, and trends.Demonstrated effectiveness in the PM function, including:Experience implementing digital project management methodology and leveraging a range of tools and tactics. Experience working with enterprise project management systems and leading important touchpoints such as kick-off and status meetings.Ability to plan, schedule, and control project activities, applying creative and strategic thinking and technical/project management skills to satisfy project requirements.A passion for solving problems and meeting tight deadlines.Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.High degree of ownership and accountability over projects.
