Job Description:
The Provider Relations Representative serves as a liaison between El Paso First and the provider community with respect to issues of provider network management, credentialing and re-credentialing, issue resolution, provider education and provider satisfaction.
Required Skills:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Familiarity with local community.
3. Bilingual, English and Spanish required.
Required Experience:
Work Experience
Two years of work experience in the health care related field required. Experience in managed care or other insurance environment, preferable Medicaid. Behavioral health experience preferred. Provider relations experience a plus.
License/Registration/Certification
Car and valid driver’s license required.
Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a health related field preferred.
