Job Responsibilities:
- Providing prompt and efficient technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Escalating complex technical problems to the appropriate IT personnel or vendor and following up until resolution.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, including servers, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Creating and updating technical documentation, including user manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including regular backups and system updates.
- Assisting with new hardware and software installations and upgrades.
- Participating in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems and networks, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with network protocols, antivirus software, and remote support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.
The pay range for this role is:27.15 - 31 USD per hour(Remote (Boston, Massachusetts, US))
