POSITION SUMMARY
-
Coordinates administrative support activities for the Environmental Services Manager. Performs and provides confidential, organizational, departmental, clinical and administrative support services such as: correspondences in final form, scheduling, documentation archival, retrieval both manual and electronic including; time and attendance, payroll, evaluation preparation and coordination, policy and manual updates and revisions, supply orders and stock maintenance, bed-tracking administrator software and maintenance, pest control coordinator, education records, training, orientation, minutes meetings, typing and transcription, implementation of forms and updates, productivity reports, net learning coordinator, monthly reports, inspections, attend meeting in absence of ES Manager, acts as secondary responder if ES manager can not be reached or is not present. Communicates to staff in response to customer complaints and emergency situations. and all shifts and departments as needed to assure proper work flow.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:.

Must have problem solving abilities and be able to perform under job related stress.

Effectively operate personal computer equipment using word processing and spread sheet applications.
-
Transcribe from written or audio minutes.
-
Complete assignments in form of results expected.

Ability to plan and scheduled multiple task in related areas and still meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and quality for speed.

Must be able to interact and practice customer excellence with internal and external customers.

To organize, keep files and records in an efficient manner.

Attend meetings in the absence of ES Manager as requested and take minutes.
-
Orders through facility ordering system any supplies for office functions or other supplies as needed and requested by Manager.

Proficient in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher.

Compose correspondence for internal and external distribution.
-
Will provide full support with any disaster event as required.

Preferred:
-
Associates degree with clerical training and 2 - 5 years experience in the clerical job market.
-
Pass typing test and computer quiz with performing a sample Excel spread sheet.
-
Background in healthcare or institutional setting in Environmental Services.
