Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Job Summary: Registered Nurse Operating Room Methuen Full-time 40 Hours 7 am to 3:30 pm
The OR nurse works in the state-of-the-art new Santagati Center, bringing Boston-caliber surgical sophistication to the Merrimack Valley. The Santagati Center has seven spacious surgical suites, including the only hybrid operating room in the region.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction and leadership of the Nurse Manager, the Operating Room RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through knowledge of the nursing process and age-specific requirements, and by following departmental and hospital policy and procedure. Performs as a member of the surgical team in the delivery of patient care and assumes appropriate responsibilities before, during and after surgery. Qualified candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively document care, delegate assignments, relay information, and act as liaison between patient, physicians, and other hospital disciplines. Qualifications:
- Massachusetts RN licensure,
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates (ASN) with a minimum of two years’ experience in this specialty.
