The Cook is responsible for preparing and assisting in the service of all meals to clients and staff within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Prior cooking experience.
- Able to work with children.
- Flexible schedule depending on departmental needs.
- Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
JOB DUTIES:
- Comply with policies on dress code and cell phone use at work.
- Hot and cold food preparation.
- Work with basic standardized recipe system.
- Follow daily cycle menu and production worksheets to include special diets and recording of daily food usage.
- Overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.
- Involvement in portion planning and recipe development.
- Pulling stock from freezer for future preparation.
