Research Coordinator Position Summary
The Research Coordinator will participate in the design, administration, and monitoring of clinical trials. This includes data analysis, working with a principal investigator, department, sponsor and institute to support and provide data and guidance on the administration of the compliance and other related aspects of the clinical study. The Research Coordinator will identify workflow and process issues and concerns, and provide leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize system performance
The Research Coordinator serves as a clinical research coordinator (CRC) or study coordinator of clinical research studies. The CRC will be responsible for the overall management of an assigned clinical trials portfolio. The position requires the ability to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of all assigned protocols and the ability to perform functions with a high degree of independence.
CRC will develop detailed knowledge of all assigned studies. Strong emphasis is placed on knowledge of regulations pertaining to research and Good Clinical Practice; skill at managing multiple projects; and ability to communicate effectively and work in multiple teams.
Research Coordinator Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required.
- Master's degree is preferred
- Obtains and maintains ACRP/SOCRA Certification Required within 2 years of hire
- Three years of related experience in designing, implementing, and coordinating research studies is preferred.
Research Coordinator Work Schedule
- Exempt, salaried position. Shifts are variable based on educational need.

Salary range:
