Position overview:
We're looking for a part-time Web & Digital Brand Developer to support both our engineering and marketing teams. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of front-end development and brand design. You"ll help us build, maintain, and evolve our public-facing digital presence — from Flask-based AI-driven web tools to the brand consistency of our Astro site, decks, and digital assets.
This position is open remotely worldwide.
Your mission:
- Web Development: Build and maintain Flask-based web applications and implement frontend updates to our marketing website using Astro, HTML/CSS/JS.
- Deployment & Infrastructure: Ensure web deployments are stable and performant on Google Cloud.
- Brand Experience: Maintain brand consistency across digital channels — website, email, decks, and social.
- Visual Communication: Design and standardize reusable graphic and document templates (PPT, Docs, Slides).
- Collaboration & Evolution: Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to launch new features, track feedback, and roll out at least two proactive improvements per quarter.
Key requirements:
- 2–4 years experience in web development and brand/visual design
- Bachelor's in Design, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
- Strong experience with Python and Flask
- Experience deploying web applications on Google Cloud
- Experience with Astro, or similar static site builders
- Good knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and Git
- Confident managing brand guidelines and digital asset libraries
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Technical skills
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/LESS), JavaScript/TypeScript, Astro
- Backend: Python, Flask
- DevOps: Google Cloud, Git (pull requests, branching workflows)
- Design: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaboration: Slack, Google Workspace
Nice to have:
- Experience with Headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO and web performance optimization
- Experience with email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
