We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior HR Manager in our Broomfield, CO location. You will support our cutting-edge Quantum Computing Hardware Technology organization. This individual will operate as a trusted HR Business Partner (HRBP) to leaders in the hardware and operations teams, driving initiatives that accelerate innovation through talent growth, organizational effectiveness, and an engaged, high-performance culture. This role also includes responsibility as the HR site leader for Colorado, with regional HR oversight in Minnesota and Virginia, and coordination of broader U.S. HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a key HRBP to technical and engineering leaders, providing counsel on workforce planning, team dynamics, talent development, succession planning, and performance optimization in alignment with the technology roadmap. This includes delivery of project installations around the world.
• Talent & Organizational Development: Champion programs to foster professional growth, build technical capabilities, and enhance employee engagement. Facilitate change management initiatives, including change impact assessments, communication plans, and training strategies.
• Talent Acquisition Support: Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to attract and retain top technical talent, ensuring alignment with hiring strategies and workforce plans.
• Site Leadership: Serve as the HR site leader for Broomfield, with oversight of HR initiatives and employee support in Minnesota and Virginia. Act as a cultural ambassador and point of contact for all site-related HR matters.
• Coaching & Employee Relations: Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to managers and employees in conflict resolution, coaching, performance management, and employee relations investigations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure HR practices and documentation meet all applicable labor laws and regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Engagement Leadership: Partner with internal Communications to deliver meaningful activities in support of organizational engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global HR colleagues, business leaders, and COEs (Centers of Excellence) to support integrated people strategies across the broader organization.
• Special Projects: Lead or participate in various HR-related projects and initiatives across the organization, as assigned.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources as a site leader or business partner, including at least 3 years in a HR leadership role.
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status).
WE VALUE:
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Dynamic experience in a highly technical, global organization
- Experience supporting technical, R&D, or hardware engineering organizations
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence leaders, and manage complex organizational dynamics
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state HR operations
- Experience as a Human Resources site leader, multiple site leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated competencies in effective business and event communications
- Expertise with Human Resources compliance activities such as investigations, terminations, payroll, etc.
- Ability to agilely juggle multiple competing priorities from client group and organization
- Experience in a talent driven organization focused on goal setting, employee review cycles, and performance management
Compensation & Benefits:
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable
