REGISTERED NURSE (GENERAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT)
JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned intensive or critical care unit utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved nursing school/program. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in patient care as obtained through completion of an approved nursing program.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Registered Nurse licensure to work in state of TN. Current CPR/BLS certifications required. ACLS required within 1 year of assignment. Critical Care Course required within six (6) months of assignment.
