Job Summary

Primarily within the acute behavioral health inpatient unit, engage with patients, treatment team, and staff to help address challenging behavior. Through 1:1 patient care assignment and observation, collect data used by Licensed Behavior Analyst, therapist or Psychologist to develop individualized behavior plans, implement plan and report on the patient’s response to intervention. Primary diagnoses may include Neurodevelopmental Disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Impulse Control Disorder and Psychotic Disorder

Schedule and manage athletic trainer event coverage for all city school athletic events.

Education

High school diploma, or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field

Experience

Preferred 2 years’ experience working with children diagnosed with developmental delay.

Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries

Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at the start of employment
