Position Overview:
TCM seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. This position will drive new business and support global investor relations and client service efforts for Tract Capital Management (“TCM”).The main areas of responsibility for the role include:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute TCM's sales campaign strategy. Serve as point of contact and key representative of TCM to the investor community
- Build robust and lasting sales dialogues with real asset allocators at large institutional investors globally, bringing a deep subject matter expertise to the sales process, and being accountable for significant asset growth.
- Build a strong investor pipeline with a high conversion rate and implement a proactive fundraising strategy with LP investors across North America.
- Maintain global reach while executing the fundraising plan but specifically focus on growing the TCM's investor base in the United States, as well as expanding the team's visibility among investment consultants.
- Clearly and confidently communicate and present complex concepts, analysis, ideas, and information internally and externally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiate education and sales activity with investors not currently engaged in discussions with TCM.
- Clearly and concisely articulate technical product characteristics along with how it fits in the overall TCM Platform narrative to sophisticated institutional investors.
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have:
- 8+ years of work experience at an alternative investment advisor in a capital raising function
- Prior work experience in real assets or PE is preferred
- An appreciation for the institutional sales process and familiarity with the multiple players involved.
- Highly motivated (a self-starter), intelligent and demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and influence others.
- Strong communication skills; must have the ability to clearly and concisely articulate product and platform characteristics to sophisticated investors both in written work and presentations to large and small audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidate should be energetic and a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in dynamic environment
