This role will be full-time and on-site in Redding reporting directly to the General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for all associates, with a constant safety focus
- Directly manage manufacturing and fabrication operations in collaboration with manufacturing leads
- Responsible for maintaining a staffing plan and providing hiring recommendations to the General Manager
- Responsible for training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as required.
- Responsible for assignment of personnel to production duties and manage towards expected efficiencies
- Support planning and production scheduling as required to ensure on time delivery
- Coordinate with Quality personnel to ensure consistent production of products that meet or exceed AV standards
- Support materials management and inventory controls as required
- Continuously improve facility processes by evaluating workflow, equipment, fixtures, and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Support the development of, and revisions to, all technical documentation including Programs, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).

Education and/or Experience:
We are seeking a team player who can grow with our company.
- Must have high school diploma
- Must have 7 - 10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a pipe fitting or weld fabrication shop
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and background check and must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform light physical activity. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for a 10-hour work shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
Technical Skills
- Safety-oriented, working knowledge of OSHA guidelines strongly preferred
- Must be knowledgeable in all phases of carbon and stainless-steel welding operations including SMAW, SAW, FCAW, MIG, TIG.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience is a plus
- Business Central system experience is a plus
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer acumen including Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize and delegate actions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to self-start projects and initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiencies.
