What You’ll Do
- Performs ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures, using ultrasound equipment, for use by a physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of the heart.
- Performs echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures.
- Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations.
- Consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements.
- Is responsible for patient safety protocols.
- Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Participates actively in Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Radiological Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and other various committees as assigned.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For
- Credentialed in echocardiography from ARDMS, CCI ARRT (S) required. A
- Accredited Echocardiography Program preferred.
- Must have current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Minimum of 2 year of professional echocardiography experience in a hospital patient care setting preferred.
What We Offer
- $35.94 - $54.78 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
