Position Purpose:
Treasury Management Officer (TMO) is a high-level sales and service position responsible for deposit acquisition and growth, non-interest revenue generation, and small business loan production. TMOs develop and grow new and existing business relationships, with a focus on comprehensive treasury management solutions, in new and existing markets.
Essential Functions:
· Independently and in collaboration with internal business partners, acquires and grows comprehensive banking relationships with Small To Medium Sized Businesses (SMBs), with a focus on deposits, treasury management solutions and services, and small business lending.
· Cross sells treasury management solutions and services with new and existing business clients via both Commercial Banking and Community Banking business channels.
· Designs and implements a business plan integrating functional partners to establish and grow market presence and meets or exceeds identified production and income goals.
· Subject matter expert in treasury management solutions and industry trends.
· Participates in partner meetings and across Commercial Banking and Community Banking teams within region.
· Understands the financial needs of SMBs and larger commercial clients, Tribal and public entities.
· Leads market conversations for deposits and promotes and sells CDARS and ICS accounts.
· Maintains an understanding of all products and services offered, including partner and affiliate options, to enable effective sales and service.
· Partners with Branch Managers and Commercial Lenders on their outside business development calls.
· Refers business to other bank departments, including Commercial Banking, Community Banking, and Mortgage.
· Establishes, promotes, and participates in networking opportunities within the communities we serve to build brand awareness and source business.
· Ensures consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
· Sells products and services on a customer needs basis consistent with the bank's core vision.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Typically requires 3 years of directly related business account or cash management experience.
· High level knowledge of Treasury Management products, deposit products and services.
Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Finance, or related field preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate and consistently close a sales deal.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Effective presentation skills with the ability to professionally represent the organization to a variety of internal and external audiences.Ability to handle pressure effectively and remain adaptable in a fast-paced, changing work environment. Strong PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to meet with clients at their convenience.Valid Washington State driver's license and travel is required.High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
The work requires the ability to operate office machines and equipment, such as personal computers, printers, copying machines and telephones. The work requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and others in person and on telephones. Work activities involve combinations of sitting/standing for extended periods.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $79,228.86-$134,689.07The typical hiring range for this position is $79,228.86 – $100,000The incentive plan for this position is the Treasury Management Officer Incentive plan.
