The Registered Professional Nurse is delegated the authority to provide professional nursing care as defined by the New York State Nurse Practice Act. The RN is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional activities.
New Pay Rates: $39.00- $50.00/hr based on experience
Job Requirements:
Required: IF HIRED OR LICENSED AFTER 1/1/2017:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing degree. MUST complete BSN (Bachelors in Nursing within 8 years of hire date into the Registered Nurse position). Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. 1 yr adult critical care experience required. Neuroscience and Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within 2 weeks after hire. ACLS required at hire. Need to have PALS within 3 months of hire.
Preferred: Certification in a specialty area.
