Psychiatrist -P/T
MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a P/T Telehealth Psychiatristto manage the operation and provides overall direction and leadership for the provision of the mental health services in the facility.
Compensation: up to $175/hour (based on experience)
Location: Coal Township, PA
Schedule: P/T - 8 hours/week with one HOUR a month onsite.
Position Summary:
- Forensic/restoration to competency for justice involved individuals
- Complete psychiatric evaluations upon admission and as clinically indicated.
- Monitor and manage psychiatric medications, including adjusting medications to support stabilization and competency restoration.
- Conduct risk assessments related to psychiatric symptoms, violence, and elopement.
- Document all psychiatric contacts, treatment decisions, and progress toward competency restoration in the electronic health record (EHR)
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid PA medical license.
