Giving Home Healthcare is looking for a Project Manager in Austin, TX.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently and navigating complex healthcare environments.
You will work closely with clinical, operational, IT, and compliance teams to implement initiatives that support strategic business goals.
This is an on-site role in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with company goals and stakeholder expectations
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication plans
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution
- Lead project meetings, provide updates, and manage issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Document project progress, lessons learned, and best practices for continuous improvement
- Foster collaboration across departments and ensure strong stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- PMP certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience independently managing complex projects, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and driving results
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent).Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home healthcare, healthcare operations, or clinical service delivery environment
- Change management or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR implementations, compliance projects, or quality improvement initiatives
