This position will support the providers in the Cardiac Diagnostic Testing Center!
SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for the patient care of all patients receiving care, treatment, and/or diagnostic services from the Cardiac Lab. RN’s are responsible for the management of patients, supplies, and equipment and promoting a positive team effort among personnel, physicians and other departments. They will also be accountable for adhering to all standards of nursing care and support the vision, mission, values, and standards of Baxter Health.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required, BSN preferred.
Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing
Experience: 2 years of experience in acute care is preferred
Certifications: BLS required. ACLS must be completed within six months of date of hire or transfer date. Moderate Sedation training must be completed within 30 days of date of hire or transfer date. Basic arrhythmia course must be completed within one year from date of hire or transfer date. Basic computer skills required.
Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Spend 8 hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat, and twist, and occasionally lift patients with assistance 125 pounds or more multiple times per shift. Must be able to push in excess of 150 pounds wheelchair with patient and equipment. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. May be subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards (including electrical currents and exposure to high heat and chemicals) and infectious diseases.

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Cardiac Diagnostic staff: 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday 9 hour shifts
