Inpatient Clinical Coordinator Position Summary
The Inpatient Clinical Coordinator coordinates patient care policies, guidelines and procedures for acute care patients through the nursing process. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of clinical and support activities of the inpatient unit in collaboration with the Medical Director and the Hospitalist team. Coaches, educates and supports the team in accomplishing Unit Goals, desired outcomes and hospital mission. Ensures in collaboration with the Department Director that care is delivered by those who are competent/trained to do so according to the patient population, level of technology required, complexity of care needs and the age of the patient
Inpatient Clinical Coordinator PositionRequirements
- RN License
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- At least 3 years professional nursing experience, including demonstrated management and leadership skills is required.
- A bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) degree is required
