Position Responsibilities:
This role will own the full lifecycle of assigned product lines—driving growth, profitability, and customer impact from initial concept through eventual retirement.
- Establish and articulate vision, roadmap, and strategy for assigned offerings, ensuring alignment with broader portfolio goals.
- Manage product lines across development, launch, growth, maturity, and phase-out, balancing short- and long-term priorities.
- Set global pricing strategies informed by market research, cost structures, and demand projections. Monitor margins and optimize pricing to support financial targets.
- Conduct market and customer research to understand end-user needs, translating insights into actionable opportunities and roadmaps.
- Drive customer-centered innovation—transforming input from stakeholders into new product ideas and upgrades.
- Build compelling business cases for product investments and clearly define value propositions.
- Monitor industry trends and provide market intelligence to support strategic planning efforts.
- Define positioning, ideal customer profiles, key applications, and differentiators within the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to shape external messaging, campaigns, and sales tools.
- Lead product training for sales teams and partners to support new launches and drive adoption.
- Contribute to pipeline-building initiatives and assist in go-to-market execution.
- Guide strategic direction of products by evaluating performance, customer feedback, and quality data.
- Recommend feature improvements or changes to engineering teams to enhance user satisfaction and competitive standing.
- Identify and prioritize market expansion and new product opportunities based on customer voice and business impact.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in product management, ideally with technical or engineered products.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in driving commercial outcomes.
- Experience building product strategies and managing product lifecycle across a global footprint.
- Skilled in segmenting markets, conducting financial analysis, and developing executive-level proposals.
- Ability to write technical marketing content and develop messaging tailored to specific industries or user groups.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Comfortable operating in global environments with diverse teams and time zones.
- Strong multitasking skills with a structured approach to managing concurrent projects.
- Occasional travel up to 10%, both domestic and international.
