This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position with competitive compensation based on experience.
Choose Your Shift:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed, provides opportunities for additional earning.

What You'll Do & How You'll Make an Impact:
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production success. You will:
- Masterful Setup & Operation: Independently set up and run Vertical and Horizontal CNC Lathes with minimal supervision.
- Precision & Quality Assurance: Perform skilled inspection and validation of key features directly at the CNC machines, ensuring the highest quality.
- Optimization & Innovation: Collaborate closely with engineering, programming, and management to optimize machining processes and contribute to fixture design.
- Strategic Prioritization: Effectively prioritize your workload based on communication from Quality Control (QC) and CNC managers to meet production demands.
- Adapt & Excel: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing work priorities and skillfully overcoming machining obstacles.
- Positive Contributor: Promote a positive image of Precision Aerospace through your work ethic and professionalism.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card.
- Expert-Level Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical application of geometric tolerancing.
- Blueprint Proficiency: Proficient ability to accurately read blueprints supporting the Aerospace industry.
- Aerospace Machining Experience: Proven experience with the precision machining of critical aerospace hardware, including castings and forgings, ranging from aluminum to high nickel alloys.
- Adaptability: A demonstrated ability to adapt to changing work priorities and successfully overcome machining obstacles.
- Measurement Mastery: Expert skill in using precision measuring equipment.
- Organizational & Communication Skills: Excellent organization skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-Oriented: A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing, and typing.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, fingering, grasping, feeling, twisting, bending, and repetitive motion.
- The ability to consistently wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
