SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for creating, implementing, and supporting the daily operations of Cardiac Diagnostic Center Nuclear Department and working independently to adhere to BRMC mission , vision and values.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Board Certification in Nuclear medicine
2. Licensed with the state
3. BLS certification
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Spend 8 hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to stand/walk, bend/stoop/twist, and occasionally lift up to 20lbs. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
Work Environment:
Cardiac Diagnostic Testing Center, patient areas. Possible exposure to body fluids including respiratory droplets, sputum, blood, etc. May be exposed to infectious airborne particulates before a patient is placed in isolation.
Clinic setting, within a hospital environment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Cardiac Diagnostic staff: 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday 9 hour shifts
