Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for working closely with company leaders and cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and closing individual projects. They ensure that projects meet objectives, are completed on time, and stay within budget. This role reports to the Director of Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the planning and implementation of healthcare projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
·Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation schedules.
·Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring that these are properly mitigated and documented.
·Work closely with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, IT professionals, administrative staff, and external vendors to drive project success.
·Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and motivate team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
·Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to ensure smooth project execution.
·Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on project progress.
·Provide regular status reports to leadership and other stakeholders on project milestones, budgets, and risks.
·Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure that projects align with organizational goals and patient care standards.
·Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring effective resource utilization.
·Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of care or project outcomes.
·Be aware of relevant US healthcare regulations, policies, and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, patient privacy laws) and follow these in daily work.
·Evaluate the effectiveness of completed projects and recommend improvements to processes and methodologies.
·Promote the adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies within the project management function.
·Other duties, such as research, data analysis, report creation as needed for assigned projects.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor"s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, Computer Sciences, or related field.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma or Agile certification is a plus.
- 1-2 years in project management required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Some experience in project management software (e.g. JIRA, SmartSheet, Microsoft Project)
