What you need to know about this position:

Round the clock department servicing every area of patient care within the hospital with more than 45 dynamic workers consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
As a Medication History Technician, you will play a crucial role in our patients' health by obtaining medication information and identifying any discrepancies to ensure accurate and appropriate treatment.
This position will be primarily located in the Emergency Department with some pharmacy-related responsibilities.
The Medication History Technician will need to be comfortable with routinely talking to patients, other healthcare organizations, and pharmacies about medication histories.
The Pharmacy Medication History Technician will focus on medication history documentation dedicated to gathering the most accurate prior to admission (PTA) medication list possible.

The base hourly rate for this position is $19.26. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
This full-time day position will require you to work 36 hours weekly, 7:00AM-7:30PM, with a weekend and holiday rotation.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
