Position Summary
- Provides a variety of secretarial and staff support services that support the overall efficiency of the organization.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Screens and directs incoming calls to Hunterdon Hospice
Maintains the medical record of Hunterdon Hospice patients
Assists Hunterdon Hospice with the monthly billing process
Processes referrals from Hospice Liaison or other designated Hunterdon Hospice staff
Maintains accurate scheduling of CHHA and verifies schedule accuracy for billing purposes
Prepares memos, policies, reports, meeting minutes as directed by the Director of Hunterdon Hospice
Processes patient orders under the direction of Hospice Clinical Coordinator or other designated Hunterdon Hospice staff
Qualifications
- Minimum Education:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related area
Minimum Years of Experience :
- Required:
- One year medical office or related experience
- Preferred:
License, Registry or Certification:
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Required:
- Microsoft Office applications, Medical terminology, data entry experience, ability to multi-task, possesses strong interpersonal skills, pleasant telephone manner and professional appearance.
