Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Deburring Finisher Lead/Supervisor in Leland, NC!
Job Summary:
The Deburring Lead is responsible for working with the manufacturing supervisor everyday and leading your team. You will be removing sharp edges and preparing uniform finishes on machined parts with sanders, grinders, and specified hand tools. You will ensure the proper deburring techniques are followed and acceptable levels of quality and productivity are met within established parameters while working in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assign work orders to your team.
- Responding to inquiries from the production teams
- Ability to work and flex priorities per the demands of the customer.
- Help with training of new hires.
- Performs deburring operations on a large variety of parts at times with high levels of complexity, ensuring the operation is performed within established parameters, minimal scrap, and acceptable levels of output.
- Plan deburring technique using proper tools, and produces parts within established finish specifications, specifications at acceptable levels of production, which includes the reading and interpretation of process drawing, routings, and travelers.
- Use a full range of deburring equipment and hand tools in support of daily output on specific materials ensuring that 100% of parts produced meet or exceed expectations.
- Reads and interprets a variety finish specifications and engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding and ability to use deburring and finishing tools and precision measuring tools is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to communication effectively within different departments.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand technical documentation, computer literate, read process drawing (blueprints).
- 1 - 3 years of grinding experience in a precision manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $23.00

First Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
