The Opportunity That Awaits You:
Responsible for managing the warehouse and distribution functions for raw material and finished goods. Primary interface with internal and external stakeholders for the business or projects assigned and ensures the effective execution of inventory transactions in support of robust data integrity, quality processes and delivery requirements.
In partnership with the Director of Materials, Supply Chain Manager, Senior Sourcing Manager and Senior Director of Supply Chain, thispositionplaysanimportantrolewithresponsibilityfor direct, indirect material and finished goods.
Ensure trade compliance for all regions and work closely with the Import/Export Specialist to provide guidance and support to both internal and external customers and suppliers.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- The Director of Logistics & Warehouse Operations is responsible for managing the internal supply chain (shipping to end customers, receiving, inventory, and material handling).
- They will provide strategic planning to achieve key business objectives in our logistics operations and will act as a subject matter expert in support of operational best practices including, operational warehouse optimization, and tools/technologies.
- They will also direct and support the Logistics Manager and Warehouse Manager the day-to-day activities of the organization’s logistics and warehouse operations to achieve KPI goals.
- Plan and implement company workflows for managing transportation for both forward and reverse logistics.
- Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including import, export and hazardous materials (dangerous goods) for domestic and international shipping in all regions.
- Evaluate logistics suppliers and manage relationships to achieve cost-effective solutions while ensuring high customer service levels (OTD, OTIF)
- Manage 3PL operations and relationships; strategically grow our 3PL footprint to support the needs of the business.
- Establish objectives for increased output and improved efficiency.
- Develop tools to automate repetitious processes.
- Resolve inventory management concerns.
- Manage day-to-day input and output of logistics.
- Lead project implementation to drive process improvement initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to calculate the cost-benefit ratio.
- Monitor the overall budget of the business including inbound/outbound freight cost and 3PL Logistics.
- Ensure timely and accurate availability of raw materials and supplies to manufacturing lines.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and distribution centers.
- Establish a suite of key Process Indicators (KPI) to monitor the health of each functional area.
- Develop and share dashboards that provide transparency on actual performance compared to KPI targets.
- Build, coach and manage a high-performance team with a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality and EH&S policies.
- Perform other job duties as assigned
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
- BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 15+ years progressive experience in Logistics and Warehouse Operations
- 10+ years of direct management experience in capital equipment and consumables manufacturing in the medical device industry or a similar regulated environment.
- Extensive ERP and Supply Chain systems experience.
- Proven leadership skills in building and managing teams with a history of world class success.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with customers and internal employees.
- Professional work ethic, high capacity, strong analytical and organizational skills, and ability to operate independently.
- Foster strong collaboration across multiple departments to ensure alignment on schedules and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
- APICS Certified
- Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) from ASCM
- QAD ERP Planning Expertise
- Be willing to work in the office
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises employees in Logistics and Warehouse Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Compensation also includes a 25% annual bonus and RSUs at offer!

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $198,000-268,000 per year.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
