JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Director (AD) provides day-to-day management for the non-profit charitable arm of the Blessing Health System. The Administrative Director is an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community and within the organization who cares for the patients and their families. This position collaborates with the Foundation Board to cultivate donors to support planned gifts, honor/memorial gifts, recognition of gifts, scholarships at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, and internal, specific purpose funds. The AD will champion for charitable donations, facilitates philanthropy and solicits gifts for the non-profit entities of Blessing Health System.
The Foundation conducts awareness by advertising on behalf of the Blessing Foundation for Capital Campaigns while maintaining the donations and donor online system of tracking and receipt of gifts. The AD oversees and maintains the employee crisis fund for the Blessing Health System.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission, Vision, Values of Blessing Health System as well as the ICARE standards, which must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 8-10 years of progressive experience in management of healthcare, public relations, advertising, marketing, journalism, and/or fund-raising.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Collaborative approach within the organization
- Project management experience
PREFERRED:
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database software preferred
