Medical Lab Technician

Pay Range: $32.82 - $39.22 per hour, based on experience.
Duties include phones, data entry, and assisting in the specimen and testing processes, including communication and follow up on patient results. Performs, evaluates, records, and reports clinical laboratory tests used in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients on a variety of body fluids and biological specimens.
Education/Training: Associate degree in Laboratory Science and NYS licensure. Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Experience: Knowledge of pathology/clinical laboratory terminology and work flow. Must be computer-literate.
Licensure, Registration or Certification: NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician required. ASCP preferred.
