Assists the nursing staff by performing assigned duties. Training is provided relevant to the population served,
based on scope of care of the service assignment.

Job Responsibilities
-
Greets and orients new patient to hospital environment.

Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for review by a nurse.

Documents patient progress toward goals and ensures documentation is accurate, complete, specific, andtimely.

Assists nursing staff to identify physical, psychosocial, age-specific and cultural considerations of eachpatient.

Works with the nursing staff to provide personal care according to organizational standards and policies.

Reports abnormal findings.

Education
-
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
-
Certified as State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA) in the state of Kentucky required. Certified as a Basic
Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position.
