Samaritan Health Services is seeking a 0.8FTE Trauma and or Acute Care Surgeon to join 4 surgeons in Corvallis, Oregon. We are seeking an individual who is dynamic, enthusiastic about trauma and acute care surgery, willing to learn new technology, and someone who can provide a positive role model to our resident trainees.
Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed medical facility located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The only hospital in the city, it is a level II trauma center, and serves the Linn, Benton, and Lincoln County area. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics
- 70 24-hour shifts per year (includes weekend and weekday shifts), plus 50 weekday 10-hour rounding shifts
- No electives cases
- 20-Bed ICU
- Level 2 Trauma Center
- Rotating schedule to provide 24-hour coverage
- Work with surgical residents and medical students
Requirements
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible
- 3-5 years’ surgical experience preferred
- Surgical/Critical Care fellowship required
- ATLS/BCLS Certified
- Eligibility to work in the United States
