Join our team as an XRay / CT Technolgist and help us provide quality and compassionate care for our patients!
JOB SUMMARY:
Operates both Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, and all related equipment. Performs data manipulation and processing. Thoroughly explains and educates patients about procedures. Position and immobilize patient on exam table Must be able to review and evaluate orders, images, video and/or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Performs venipuncture. Reinforces patient compliance issues throughout the exam. Performs exams per protocol. Screens patients for contraindications to intravenous contrast infusion. Uses good judgment and discretion by consulting with radiologist when appropriate. Processes, networks, and films images, prepares room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. Transports and transfers patients. Accurately completes all necessary paperwork and information for the patients’ medical record. Record, process and maintain patient data into appropriate EMR/PACs system. Provides compassionate patient care. Works consistently to improve customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduated from a JCERT approved Radiological Technology training program with at least one-year clinical experience.

Current ARRT (CT) registry card on file, or registry eligible, or ARRT (R) registered and/ or actively pursuing CT advanced certification.

Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Able to work in latex burdened environment.

Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
-
Able to frequently lift to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Demonstrates adequate vision or correctable glass to read, write, and evaluate medical images.

Able to hear or correctable with hearing devices and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone.

Able to hear, see and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care.
-
Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e., operate imaging equipment, venipuncture).
