PRIMARY FUNCTION
Manage and route documents received via fax server. The coordinator will analyze each document and route the document to the intended recipient based on the information provided, following specific instructions as outlined.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain “logged in” status to fax server during working hours. Analyze documents received to determine routing procedures. Follow Pediatric Associates Document Manager Routing procedures, including timely processing of documents. Communicate with office location via e-mail or phone to coordinate signatures for specific documents. Identify time sensitive documents and respond with urgency. Meet quality requirements as determined. Meet productivity standards as determined.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience may be commensurate with education.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years minimum experience.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to read and identify a high-volume of various documents such as medical records, lab results, consultation notes, prescription refills, physician orders, and all other communication to PA received via fax server.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must have the ability to read and identify documents such as medical records, lab results, consultation notes, prescription refills, physician orders, and all other communication to PA received via fax server.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Non-patient facing.
- May rotate working in the office and remote/telework.
- Working in a professional office environment.
- The position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Clear and concise communication using e-mail and phone is necessary.
- May require sitting or standing for long periods, including stooping, bending & stretching.
- Requires occasional lifting of files and boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type at 35 wpm, operate copier, and other office equipment as necessary.
