We are looking for a Workplace Experience Coordinator to join our People Team as we open our first office in Stamford, CT. Due to the nature of this role, the Workplace Experience Coordinator is required to be in office 3 days per week (usually Tuesday - Thursday) with remote work on other days or trips to the office as needs arise.
This is an evolving role, currently reporting directly to the VP, People Operation with ample opportunity for growth if you play to your strengths. The Workplace Experience Coordinator is every employee and guest"s first impression of our Stamford Office and Crisp. This pivotal role significantly influences the overall employee experience from the front office interactions to site maintenance and the organization of employee events. What the team does:
The People Operations Team is more than HR. It supports all Crisp employees in the pursuit of productive, comfortable, and flexible places to work by (1) building inspiring and functional office spaces that facilitate individual work, team connections, and onsite events, and (2) by supporting those who work remotely in creating their own personal and productive work space.
What you'll work on:
There are three parts of this role: Office Manager, Executive Assistant to our CFO & People Ops Team Ambassador. Duties are listed below:
- Front office management and reception, including visitor sign-in, access systems, mail management, and all other shipping/receiving including incoming & outgoing mail.
- Maintenance of office space, ensuring it's well-stocked, clean, and welcoming; including light cleaning of communal spaces.
- Identify facility deficiencies, coordinate repairs, and track deficiency status.
- Facilitate regular facility inspections, keeping up-to-date facility inspection records, and coordination with building services for repairs and maintenance.
- Support our CFO as an Executive Assistant by managing his busy calendar, scheduling travel, arranging dinners/events, coordinating meetings with other executives and other necessary areas of support.
- Assist with planning, coordination, and communication of internal and external events, including company meetings, monthly mixers, holiday parties, and team socials/on-site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including People, IT, and visiting executives, to ensure workplace policies and programs are executed and aligned with business objectives.
- Support the physical security of the office ensuring secured systems are operational, site access PINs are managed, and liaising IT/Security team as needed.
- Assist with workplace technology systems, including AV equipment, and video conferencing systems.
- Liaise with vendors for F&B, socials, cleaning and office supplies.
- Additionally as part of the People & IT team you will be working on various projects ranging from coordinating employee swag, recruiting, onboarding, cultural events and so much more.
What you you"ll bring:
- 3-5 years of combined experience in a Office Manager / Executive support role
- Collaborative and self-starter mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to develop trust

- A passion for creating unique and collaborative experiences
- Comfort with new technologies and tools
Bonus points if you have:
- 2-4 years of experience on a culture committee or in an people operations/culture role
- Prior SaaS or VC-Funded startup experience
- Event planning experience
- Spreadsheet mastery, Slack proficiency, G Suite familiarity, Zoom wizardry, Trello affinity and MacOS experience
- Experience working with a distributed People team
