Job Title: Finance Analyst
Department: Corporate Finance
Reports To: Director of Finance
Location: Canton, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: The Finance Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Perform closing procedures related to Aultman Health Foundation and any of its affiliated organizations
- Analysis of financial data trends and indicators for organization decision making
- Analysis of patient accounts receivable and net revenue estimation and modeling
- Completion of monthly account reconciliations
- Participate in team projects related to the strategic goals of the organization
- Assist with budgeting, tax and audit functions for the organization
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and other departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CPA license is a plus
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or related role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
