SUMMARY:
Acts as the first point of contact for clients seeking agency assistance, providing information on programs and eligibility. Conducts initial screening and refers clients to the appropriate internal or external resources. Performs various clerical tasks to support the organization. Bilingual English/Spanish is required for this role, as you will be communicating with a diverse group of clients and community partners.
About the role
Answers incoming calls, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages. Greets incoming visitors and directs them to the appropriate department or individual. Conducts initial eligibility screening and sets up new client files. Schedules intake meetings for new clients with Case Managers. Documents activities in client"s file. Assists Case Manager with intake of new clients according to intake procedures. Assists Case Managers with recordkeeping requirements, including scanning, filing, and uploading documents into SETWorks database and organizing paper files. Identifies services available for participants to utilize outside of Entrust Community Services, and makes referrals as needed. Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with outside agencies and care providers. Provides coverage as needed for Case Managers, Placement Specialists, and Community Support Specialists when unscheduled absences occur. Assists with outreach activities consistent with the organization's outreach plans and goals. Maintains office supplies and places orders when inventory is low. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. They are usually obtained by possessing the following education and experience:
Education
High School diploma or GED and additional college level or specialized human service training required. Undergraduate degree in psychology, sociology, special education or a related field preferred.
Experience
One year of Human service work.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to assist in the development of training plans for program participants. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, family members of program participants or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as time studies, standards, discount, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists and where immediate supervisor may not be readily available. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred Valid and current Washington State Drivers license Proof of automobile insurance if a vehicle is driven
