SUMMARY: Provides inclusive holistic spiritual care to patients, families and staff through daily rounding and on-call duty. Must be able to respond and be patient-facing in under 30 minutes when on-call. Provides inpatient care, end-of-life care and emergency room/crisis care.
Required Education/Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master of Divinity degree from an accredited school of theology; Four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
Required Experience: One (1) year healthcare-related chaplaincy (may include CPE)
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Ordination in a recognized faith group/religious body; Ecclesiastical Endorsement from the ordaining faith group/religious body; Board Certified Chaplain or eligible for board certification (completed 4 units of CPE), to be completed within 2 years of hire date
Preferred Experience: Palliative Care and Trauma/Emergency Care experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Board Certified Chaplain
