Job Title: Shop Assistant

Pay: $10.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM (or as needed)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to support our mechanical and hydraulic service operations. This role involves working alongside shop employees, assisting with daily tasks, and helping on service calls when needed. Our shop specializes in servicing heavy-duty equipment and trucks. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, a team player, and can follow instructions with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Assist shop employees with mechanical and hydraulic repair tasks
Help load and unload tools, parts, and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Support technicians during service calls as needed
Perform basic maintenance duties and errands
Follow safety protocols and instructions from supervisors
Requirements:
Ability to work well with others in a team setting
Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Able to lift heavy parts and tools as needed
Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation
