POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages, supervises, and coordinates patient care activities in the designated ambulatory nursing home visit service area. Serves as a link to ensure efficient, appropriate therapeutic home visit nursing care is administered while maximizing efficiencies and effectiveness of grant contract guided and required operations. Monitors and assures compliance with University Health System's and Nurse-Family Partnership's (NFP) 18 elements, policies, protocols, values, and guest relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required (Magnet). Master's degree preferred. Three years of related, progressively responsible outpatient or public health nursing experience is preferred. Two years in a supervisory capacity is required.
LICENSURE
Must be a Registered Nurse through the Texas State Board of Nursing. Certification in Nursing Administration or Community Health is preferred.
