Job Summary
- Seeking a technical system engineer to join an existing DevOps team that is working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host services across multiple platforms
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and document system designs, configurations, and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, hardware, and software issues
- Collaborate with software engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams
- Ensure systems comply with organizational standards and security requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Experience with Linux CLI
- Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster
- Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management
- Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
- Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
- Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
- Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
- Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards
- Security+ certification (CWIP)
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:155,000 - 210,000 USD per year(NBP)
